Tom Holland is gearing up for the release of the next MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which not only marks the after-effects of Avengers: Endgame, but is an epilogue to Phase 3, making way for a new Phase 4. Dealing with the loss of his mentor Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Peter Parker has to learn to move on and start afresh. However, in order to save the world yet again, Nick Fury enlists Spider-Man and makes him join forces with Quentin Beck aka Mysterio (played by Jake Gyllenhaal).
"The world needs an Iron Man," an emotional Peter says in the trailer of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which got many MCU fans teary-eyed. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Tom in Bali, Pinkvilla asked the actor if he feels Spider-Man has what it takes to carry forward Iron Man's legacy. Holland stated, "Yes, I think he does. But, he has to realize that himself. This film [Spider-Man: Far From Home] isn't about him becoming Iron Man, this film is about him becoming Spider-Man."
"And, he needs to realize that he is more powerful than he knows and that his responsibility of being this superhero is never going to go away. So, he needs to do the best he can with it and make sure he makes the world a better place for it," Tom added.
