Prernaa Arora gets candid about the casting of Fanney Khan.
Ever since it was announced that Fanney Khan was in the works, fans could not handle their excitement as it would see the onscreen reunion of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The movie will see both the actor play the role of singers and is being helmed by Atul Manjrekar and will be co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
Recently, there were rumours that Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao were both approached for the movie to romance Aishwarya's character.
In a candid chat with Pinkvilla, when we asked producer Prernaa Arora about the same, she said, "We were looking at casting. This was our wish list that we were looking at. These were the names that we thought of, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra thought of. Yes, this is not false but this is not something that we have gone ahead with. We are looking at somebody who will suit the character perfectly. So that is something that is going on and soon we will be able to come to a conclusion of who will be cast and in another 10-15 days, we should be done with it."
