Vidya Balan, who delivered a hit one-and-a-half years ago, with Tumhari Sulu, has not really been on a signing spree. Although, the talented actress will soon be seen in Jagan Shakti's Mission Mangal that features an ensemble cast. The movie has Akshay Kumar toplining it, along with several powerhouse performers like Vidya, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen. But after Mission Mangal, we hear the Paa actress is being considered for several projects.

Says a source, "Vidya has been sitting for regular narrations and hearing scripts. But she has declined all of them as of now. She has always maintained a very polite and professional relationship with directors. Whoever is approaching her for movies, she's giving them time. But as of now, she doesn't want to take up a film."

Why? The source adds, "She is turning producer with the web series on Indira Gandhi's life which she has bankrolled. The series will be based on Sagarika Ghose's book Indira: India's Most Powerful Prime Minister. Vidya is extremely passionate and kicked about this project because she has been waiting to play Indira for years now. Each time, she was offered a film on her, it ran into a legal wrangle. Now, she has sorted all of it. She has been meeting the team each day to discuss how to go about the series. Vidya is involved in every stage of the process and that has consumed most of her time. She wants the show to be of a certain standard and position it well."
