Vidya Balan might not have had a release in the last one and a half years, since Tumhari Sulu, but this August 15, she will be seen playing a pivotal part in Jagan Shakti's Mission Mangal. Among the many girls that headline the space drama along with Akshay Kumar, VB is leading the pack.
Right after Mission Mangal, she has also decided on what she wants to do right after. Vidya recently announced that she will be stepping into the shoes of human computer and mathematician Shakuntala Devi in her biopic that will be released next year. And we hear that the team plans to begin shoot for the same next month.
A source tells us, "Vidya is known to do some rigorous prep for any role she takes up. She had been busy for the last few months and couldn't completely concentrate on the biopic. Right after she releases Mission Mangal, she has plans to dive into the prep for Shakuntala Devi biopic. She has informed her team to not disturb her for the next 15 days, post Independence Day. Only a few days have been alloted for a few brand commitments."
The plan has been put in place. "They begin shoot in the first week of September in London. The whole film is divided into few schedules - some in London and the others will be shot in Mumbai itself. Vidya will be shooting continuously till December and will begin another film only post that."
