The much-awaited day is finally round the corner as the horror comedy, Roohi, is all set to be the first major theatrical release in Hindi since the cinema halls shut down in March last year. The movie is expected to get the cycle rolling again, by getting the audience back and cultivate the cinema watching habit again. Just a couple of days before it’s release, Pinkvilla met the cast of Roohi – Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma - at a cinema hall in Mumbai, to discuss the film and a lot more.
The makers decided to promote the film in the cinema halls to give out the message their horror comedy is releasing in theatre. In a candid chat, the leading trio were ecstatic that their next is among the first to arrive in the cinema hall and urged the audience to view the film on the big screen by following all the protocols. They also opened up about their upcoming films – Rajkummar Rao about HIT and Chupke Chupke remake, Janhvi Kapoor about Good Luck Jerry and Varun Sharma about Cirkus.
Raj cleared the doubts of the audience about his presence in both Stree and Roohi and informed that he doesn’t rule out the possibility of a double role as Bhawra and Vicky in one of the upcoming films from the horror universe. Janhvi on the other hand is looking forward to collaborate with Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in a probable crossover between Stree, Roohi and Bhediya. The trio were at ease, jovial and enjoying the round of on-ground promotions after a while showcasing a vibrant off-screen chemistry.
