The government has started rolling out vaccines for frontline healthcare workers and senior citizens, however, everyone is still recommended to take all the precautions to safeguard oneself from Covid-19. In the initial phase, a lot of B-town actors had tested positive for the virus, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora. Pinkvilla has now learnt that Ranbir Kapoor too has been tested positive for Covid-19. A source close to the actor informs that RK is presently under quarantine and is resting it out.
We reached out to Ranbir’s uncle and actor Randhir Kapoor for confirmation. When asked if it’s true that Ranbir has got Covid, he responded with a, “Yes”. However, he was quick to add, “I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town.” We even dropped a text to Ranbir, his actress-mother Neetu Kapoor and RK’s manager, however, we hadn’t heard back from them till the time of publishing this report.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has an interesting line-up of films ahead. Right from Karan Malhotra’s period-action drama Shamshera to Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy film, Brahmastra that also features RK’s ladylove Alia Bhatt. In fact, last week Alia had even shared a few snaps from the sets of Brahmastra. She captioned the pictures as, “It’s a blessing to be on this journey…”. Check out the post below:
He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next with Shraddha Kapoor in the pipeline.
