The 2024 Tony Awards successfully handed out prizes for the best performances in theater on Sunday, June 16, at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York. Hosted by Ariana DeBose for the third consecutive year, the ceremony was broadcast live on CBS between 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT.

Merrily We Roll Along won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical at the coveted event, and Stereophonic was named Best Play. Appropriate won the award for Best Revival of a Play.

Among other noteworthy victors from the night were Daniel Radcliffe, Sarah Paulson, and Jeremy Strong, all of whom scored their first Tonys. Additionally, Dede Ayite scripted history by becoming the first Black woman to win a Tony for Best Costume Design of a Play.
