The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards took place on September 11 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, with major wins for Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Megan Thee Stallion. Taylor Swift dominated the night, earning seven awards out of her 12 nominations, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Summer. She also broke Beyonce's record for most solo VMA wins, with 30 victories in total. Megan Thee Stallion, Chappell Roan, and Eminem also had notable wins. The event featured stellar performances from various artists, including Eminem, Katy Perry, and Sabrina Carpenter.
