Richard Madden has THIS to say about dating rumours with Brandon Flynn
Richard Madden, star of Game of Thrones and Rocketman, recently addressed the dating rumours with 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn. Read below to know what the actor had to say about the romantic speculations.
Richard Madden was in LA, USA, for the promotional tour of his latest release, Rocketman. Besides being talked about for his role as Elton John's former long-time boyfriend and manager John Reid, there were several paparazzi photos of the Game of Thrones actor with 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn. While reportedly, the duo is good friends and roommates in LA, rumours are rife that Richard and Brandon are actually dating. Brandon even joined Richard and his family at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 where Rocketman had a premiere.
When the New York Times asked Richard about the dating rumours, Madden neither confirmed nor denied the speculations. Instead, the actor said, "I just keep my personal life personal. I’ve never talked about my relationships." Richard also spoke about the constant pressure of the paparazzi eye on him and how he tries to dodge them. "I wear the same clothes days in a row because if it looks like the same day, they can’t run the pictures. There’s only so many photos you can have of me with a green juice walking down the street," Madden revealed.
Guess the dating rumours will continue on for now, at least!
Previously, Brandon was in a relationship with singer Sam Smith while Richard has dated Doctor Who star, Jenna Coleman.
Meanwhile, Rocketman released on May 31, 2019, and also stars Taron Egerton as the titular role of the iconic musician, Elton John. On many occasions, Taron and Richard have had to publicly address the shooting of the sex scene between Elton and John. While it was uncomfortable for the actors to shoot it, gender neutral, they felt that the scene was apt as it was an important moment in Elton's life.
