Even after weeks Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun stay strong at the box office
Ayushmann Khurrana starring Badhaai Ho and Adhadhun both have been a hit with the audience. Both the films are going strong at the box office. Let’s take a look at the box office collections of both the films.
2018 seems to be turning out a good year for actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The actor who first stepped in Bollywood with Vicky Donor opposite Yami Gautam has finally been able to deliver back to back hits with his recent releases. Yes! Ayushmann Khurrana starred in two of the most entertaining films of 2018, Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho. Andhadhun released on October 5, 2018 and was a thriller movie starring Tabu and Radhika Apte along with him. On the other hand, Badhaai Ho was a family movie starring Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sanya Malhotra and Ayushmann Khurrana. Badhaai Ho released on October 18, 2018.
Both the films did really well at the box office. Andhadhun that released in the beginning of October is into its fourth week and is still going strong. The box office collections for Andhadhun into its fourth week have been INR 3 Crores approximately. However, the total box office collection at the end of the fourth week has been INR 63 Crores approximately. On the other hand, Badhaai Ho is into its second week and already is being touted as a hit. Badhaai Ho’s box office collection at the end of week 2 has been INR 17 Crores, whereas the total box office collection for the same is INR 82 Crores approximately.
These figures point towards the obvious that Ayushmann Khurrana’s both films have been doing really well at the box office. The audience have been showering a lot of love on the actor and have loved his idea of bringing taboo subjects on screen with finesse. The song Morni Banke from Badhaai Ho has become a chartbuster and is being loved by the audience. Andhadhun was directed by Sriram Raghavan and Badhaai Ho was directed by Amit Sharma.
