Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection Prediction: Kartik Aaryan & Kriti Sanon starrer will mint THIS much on Day 1

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are all set to give live-in relationships a new name and game with their film Luka Chuppi. As the film releases tomorrow, i.e. March 1, 2019, the buzz around the film is quite high. As soon as the first trailer of the film was dropped online, fans have been super thrilled to watch the film since it is based on the concept of ‘live-in relationship’ wherein Guddu aka Kartik wants to marry Kriti; however, Sanon wants to be in for a live-in relationship first and see if the two are compatible or not.
What is adding to the buzz for Luka Chuppi is that Kartik is coming after the hit film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, having multiplied his fan following, and fans just can’t wait to watch Kartik yet again in his comic avatar. Although the film will witness a box office clash with Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sonchiriya, according to Trade Analyst Girish Johar, the film should mint close to Rs 5 crores on Day 1. When we contacted Girish, he informed us, “Luka Chuppi has a good star cast with Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon top lining it. Kartik, after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, is on a high and he is slowly and steadily increasing his fanbase across the country and Kriti is a well-established actor. The film seems to be a desi rom-com that the families and the youth would want to watch,” adding, “Given that the promotions of the film was on point and the awareness level for the film are quite high, therefore, I peg the film to have a good start around Rs 5 crores.”
Talking about the box office clash with Sonchiriya, Girish said, “Both films have their own space at the ticket counters since they belong to different genres.” Luka Chuppi stars Kriti Sanon, Kartik Aaryan, Vinay Pathak, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
