Saif Ali Khan's family and fans were left worried after an armed intruder attacked him at his Bandra residence on January 16, 2025. The actor was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Following the shocking incident, Kareena Kapoor was provided police security and was seen leaving her sister Karisma Kapoor's house under protection to visit Saif at the hospital.
A viral video captures a police van with officers inside, alongside Kareena Kapoor, entering the same vehicle. Her heightened security measures come after the attack on her husband Saif Ali Khan. Later, Kareena was spotted outside Lilavati Hospital, where Saif is currently undergoing treatment, as she arrived to visit him.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 2:30 AM when an intruder confronted Saif Ali Khan's house help inside his apartment. Saif intervened to shield his family and staff, leading to a violent confrontation.
The actor sustained multiple injuries, including a critical wound to his thoracic spinal cord. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where surgeons removed a 2.5-inch knife from his spine and treated a spinal fluid leak. Although Saif is now stable, he remains under close observation in the ICU.
The house helper was also injured during the attack, suffering cuts to her wrists and hands while trying to defend herself from the assailant.
Amid the ordeal, Kareena Kapoor Khan issued a statement urging respect for her family's privacy, emphasizing the difficulty of the situation and requesting restraint from the media and paparazzi.
