Here is a timeline of the movements of the suspects: On January 16 1:37 AM: The intruder entered Saif’s apartment using stairs. 2:33 AM: The intruder left the apartment using the staircase after attacking Saif. 7:05 AM: Suspect spotted close to Dadar Railway Station. 9:04 AM: Suspect buys headphones in Dadar. Then, he reportedly went to the Dadar Terminal and took the train running towards Palghar.

Many Bollywood celebrities have sent their wishes and prayers to Saif Ali Khan and his family after the shocking attack that happened on him. Jimmy Shergill, who has worked with Saif in the movie Hum Tum, was spotted at the hospital on January 18. He was seen getting out of his car.

After Madhya Pradesh, a second suspect has been detained in Chhattisgarh's Durg district. As per India Today, the Railway Police was alerted by Mumbai Police with the suspect's picture and location details. The suspect, reportedly identified as Akash, was intercepted aboard the Gyaneshwari Express train.

Many family members have been visiting Saif Ali Khan at the hospital to check on his well-being. Saif's sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor was also spotted at the entry gate.

Many high-profile personalities have spoken about the recent attack on Saif Ali Khan, which happened at the actor's home in Bandra, Mumbai. According to the Hindustan Times, Zeeshan Siddique, son of the late politician Baba Siddique, said, "There is a huge difference between the Bandra I was born in and Bandra today. It is not safe anymore."

In a conversation with NDTV, Dalip Tahil expressed his shock at the attack that happened on Saif. He called Mumbai one of the safest cities. The actor was confident that the police will get to the bottom of the incident. He blamed social media, saying that a lot of information about celebrities and their lifestyles was out in the open.

Mumbai Police are investigating the attack that happened on Saif Ali Khan on January 16. According to India Today, one suspect has been detained from Madhya Pradesh. The suspect is currently being questioned by the authorities.

Saif Ali Khan's mother Sharmila Tagore was spotted visiting him at the Lilavati hospital on January 18. Filmmaker Dinesh Vijan was also seen with her at the entry gate. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, and Sara Ali Khan also visited Saif earlier in the day.

Talking to ANI, Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar said that Mumbai is one of the safest megacities of the world. He also commended the history of the Mumbai Police. Regarding the attack on Saif, Shelar shared, “The police are working meticulously on this matter. The teams formed are trying to trace the roots of the issue, and the truth will come to light very soon.”

Mumbai Police have questioned over 15 individuals in the Saif Ali Khan attack case, but the suspect remains unidentified. The Crime Branch has formed 40 teams for the search. The suspect, seen in a blue shirt, was spotted buying earphones in Dadar and later near Bandra railway station. Reports suggest that he has been stealing footwear from societies in Bhandup and Mulund. The suspect, a professional burglar, changes clothes often and avoids mobile phones. 

Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan has been spotted visiting the Lilavati hospital regularly since the attack on January 16. She has been reaching there to meet her father and take his health update. On January 18, the Kedarnath actress was snapped by the paparazzi as she arrived at the hospital.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder on January 16, 2025, and the police are currently investigating the incident. They are trying to catch the attacker. On January 18, Crime Branch officers were seen at Saif's Mumbai home, where the incident took place. They continued with their investigation.

While speaking with ANI, Bhajanlal Singh, the auto-rickshaw driver who dropped Saif Ali Khan at Lilavati Hospital after the attack, was summoned for questioning by the Mumbai police today.   When asked about the details of his questioning, he replied, “Baat aesa kuch bhi nahi hui. Puchtach ke liye bulaya tha par aesa kuch sawal jawab nahi hua.” (There was nothing like that. I was called for questioning, but there was no such interrogation).

On Saturday, the police revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan, in her statement, described how the attacker became increasingly violent during the altercation with Saif, stabbing him several times.   According to reports from PTI, she also mentioned that the attacker did not take any of the jewelry that was visible in their apartment.

Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Soha Ali Khan, was spotted leaving the hospital alongside her little daughter, Inaaya, after visiting her brother, who recently underwent surgery following an attack.   The mother-daughter duo arrived earlier to be by Saif's side during this challenging time with Kunal Kemmu. The visit reflected the strong family bond and the emotional support that Saif is receiving from his loved ones during his recovery.

Kareena Kapoor, the wife of Saif Ali Khan, was spotted leaving their residence to visit her husband at the hospital following his recent attack. She was later seen arriving at the hospital to meet him.   Given the situation and concerns for her safety, Kareena was accompanied by two police officers during her journey. This additional security was arranged in response to the attack on Saif, ensuring Kareena's safety while she made her visit.

Soha Ali Khan, the sister of Saif Ali Khan, and her husband, Kunal Kemmu, were seen arriving at Lilavati Hospital to be with Saif following his recent attack.   Concerned about his well-being, the couple visited to get updates on his condition. Since the incident, they have made regular visits, showing their unwavering family support during Saif's recovery.

CCTV footage of the suspect in the Saif Ali Khan attack case, taken on January 12 in Versova, has been discovered. However, no footage has been found from the actor’s residence, leaving investigators with limited leads.   The footage from Versova could provide valuable information regarding the suspect's movements leading up to the attack, but authorities are still working to connect the dots and piece together the suspect's timeline.

After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, as per IANS, the suspect was seen heading to a mobile shop in Dadar, where he reportedly purchased a pair of headphones.   This unusual action has raised further questions in the investigation, as authorities are trying to trace his movements and gather more evidence about his whereabouts after the attack. The purchase of headphones could potentially provide more clues about his identity or intentions.

Over 52 hours have passed since the attack on Saif Ali Khan, but the Mumbai Police are still in pursuit of the suspect. Despite several efforts and searches, the culprit remains at large.   The police are continuing their investigation, with multiple teams deployed to gather leads and evidence. The police are hopeful of making progress soon in the investigation.
