Dhadak Mid-Movie Review: Two new stars are born in Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor
Ishaan Khatter is a power-packed packed performer and deserves all the praises for his comic timing and conviction. Janhvi Kapoor is the surprise element with her cheeky and stunning presence. She is a visual delight.
Comparing Dhadak to Sairat is a given but after watching the first half, you can see all the flavours of a classic Shashank Khaitan movie with the roadside Romeo and the literate Juliet. Ishaan Khatter is a power-packed performer and deserves all the praises for his comic timing and conviction. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is the surprise element with her cheeky and stunning presence, she is a visual delight. You can't take your eyes off of her. The show stealer in the first half is Shridhar Vatsal who plays Ishaan's sidekick Purshottam. While the start is a classic love story with comedy, towards the interval is where the actual acting test begins.
