Shraddha Kapoor's Haseena Parkar released to a decent response today. The film directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Nahid Khan received mixed reviews from the critics. The film is based on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar. The film marks Shraddha Kapoor's first female protagonist venture as she is essaying the title role. Kapoor's real brother, Siddhanth Kapoor portrays the role of Dawood Ibrahim, and Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena's husband.
All eyes are now on the box office to see how the film will fare. Meanwhile Twitterati was quick to respond with thoughts and comments about the much awaited movie. Here are some reactions that caught our eye. Let us know if you agree with them!
Shraddha had recently spoken about her career and movies saying, "I think this character (Haseena) is not in the negative space. It's a real life character about which there are lots of theories and guessing, but not many people know about her life. So I feel it's a true story of a woman who faced a lot in her life and dealt with some challenging circumstances. It's a story of a woman who has gone through a lot of hardship and loss in her life."
She added, "Now I will start shooting for Saaho. It's my first multi-lingual film which we will shoot in Hindi and Telugu. Recently, I spent two days in Hyderabad for the readings of Saaho with Prabhas and I also met Saina Nehwal there. So, I am very excited for both these films."

Don't watch Dawood's sister #HaseenaParkar in PVR
Much better to stand on Arthur Rd & try getting a glimpse of Dawood's bro #IqbalKaskar
#HaseenaParkar is probably the worst film I watched in cinema hall this year! It spells "D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R"
#HaseenaParkar It's ok to make film on gangster but glorifying them provokes young mind and sets bad example
