Thalapathy 69 now has an official title. Yes, you read that right. The Vijay starrer is titled Jana Nayagan, and the actor's first look from his alleged last film is also out.
In the poster, Vijay is seen taking a selfie with a swarm of people in the backdrop, dressed in a blue shirt and matching pants. The actor exudes charm in his signature look, wearing sunglasses.
Making the big announcement, makers wrote, "We call him #JanaNayagan #ஜனநாயகன். #Thalapathy69FirstLook."
Soon after the post was out, fans took to the comment section to share their reactions. A social media user commented, "Wowww....What a look it's gone a be Wild fire on Social Media," while another wrote, "This movie must show his political ideology in a entertaining way."

Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is going to be directed by H. Vinoth. The movie has been generating significant buzz online after the release of its official title and first look. Initially slated for a Diwali 2025 release, recent speculations suggest that the movie might now be pushed to Pongal 2026.
Industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai has hinted at this new timeline. However, no official confirmation has been provided by the makers yet. The film is rumored to have an army backdrop and is expected to be an action-packed drama with political elements.
Along with Vijay, actors Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol will play prominent roles in the H Vinoth directorial. For the unversed, Jana Nayagan will mark Pooja Hegde's second collaboration with the Tamil star after Beast.
Meanwhile, other cast members of the film include Priyamani, Narain and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film’s music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fifth collaboration with the superstar.
Vijay was last seen in Venkat Prabhu's The Greatest Of All Time. The movie was one of the highest-grossing projects of 2024 and featured the actor as an Anti-Terrorist Squad leader.
