Mira Kapoor was spotted at a salon in a striped suit set, which is perfect and comfy for festive days. Check out her look.
Whoever said that going for salon runs should only be about the usual leggings and t-shirts hasn’t met Mira Kapoor! Mira is out here proving that traditional wear can be the ultimate power move even for a day of pampering. Spotted at a Salon yesterday, November 3, Mira Kapoor made a serious style statement in her desi avatar. Her choice of attire was a beautifully detailed suit set which was a refreshing shift from her usual casual-cool western style outfits. Let’s take a closer look at her outfit.
The kurta in beige and royal blue from the shelves of Tasha India was a stunning creation. It comes with an overhand block stripes pattern, and this long asymmetrical kurta also features a V-neck that has a striking patch work embroidery on mesh fabric. The 3/4th sleeves only add to how chic this piece is styled with buttons that open into an A-line pattern ending with delicate mesh fabric. It’s a kind of piece that balances subtle elegance with a pop of personality.
Her kurta was not the only attraction here. Mira added contrasting straight pants in orange and pink stripes with the kurta, just bearing the right amount of contrast to keep the look youthful and fun. The pants have overlapped lace detailing, which is a nice touch that complements the whole look.
To complete her look, Mira draped a striking color blocked and tie-and-dye Kota dupatta over her shoulders. This dupatta itself was an artistic creation that is resplendent with lots of detailed patchwork embroidery, finished with lace and adorned with handmade tassels. Talk about a statement piece, one that knows how to create an impact! The bright colors of the dupatta were simply icing on the cake, providing the much sought-after celebrative element to her outfit. This look has been put together for Rs 16,700.
Elegantly simple but bold, Mira settled on a minimalist wristwatch, a classic accessory which never disappoints. She went on to show that sometimes less is more by accessorizing with a simple diamond ring. Mira wore open-toe sandals that enhanced her look but did not overpower it while the Gucci Marmont bag was the cherry on top, bringing a luxe vibe to the entire look.
Her face sported a refreshingly minimalist approach to makeup, making her look naturally beautiful. The soft nude lipstick was understated yet chic. Mascara-lined lashes and eyeliner always brought drama to her eyes, and this just brought the look together. A touch of blush to the cheeks added just that right amount of radiant glow, perfect for whatever occasion: casual or even more festive.
Mira opted to keep her hair which was fuss-free and straight, sporting a middle partition and allowing the hair to fall around her face. In addition, the combination of neatly styled hair and her ethnic attire enhanced her contemporary appearance.
Mira Kapoor's Tasha India outfit embroidered with her chic accessories and light makeup is the best case of traditional clothing fused with modernity. This look is effective for a casual weekend spent at a salon and for a festive occasion as well; thus combining tradition with modernity in the easiest way possible. You have once again mastered the ability of simple elegance, Mira Kapoor!
