Dilwale Story

Veer Bakshi (Varun Dhawan) and Raj Bakshi (Shah Rukh Khan) are two brothers who live and work in Goa as car tuners. One day, Veer meets a young, educated girl named Ishita (Kriti Sanon), and he offers to help her with something. However, while helping her, Veer ends up damaging a customer's car, and as a way to make amends, Raj makes Veer fix the car overnight. Unfortunately, Veer falls asleep while fixing the car and wakes up to find that the car's sound system has been stolen. Later, Veer gets into a fight with a drug lord named King and his men, who had threatened Ishita. He gets injured and is taken to the hospital by Raj. Raj learns of King's hideout, and with the help of his friends Shakti and Anwar, they take down the gang members and destroy their drugs. During this operation, Raj reveals himself to be Kaali, a vigilante who is known for fighting against drug traffickers. King suspects that Raj is Kaali due to his fight with Veer, but Raj's humble nature convinces King that he is not a threat. In exchange for their protection, Raj agrees to fix their car, which they had previously damaged. In the year 2000, in Bulgaria, Raj and Veer are siblings and the sons of a criminal boss named Randhir Bakshi. Raj falls in love with Meera (Kajol) during one of their chases with a rival gang led by Dev Narayan Malik. Meera spends time with Raj, but during a shipment delivery to Raj's father, Dev's henchmen attack Raj. Meera then confesses that she is Dev's daughter and that she lied to Raj. Despite this, Meera saves Raj's life on her birthday. Raj confronts Meera about her deception, chases her in his car, and saves her life when she almost falls off a cliff. He tells Meera to never see him again, or he will kill her. However, Meera realizes her mistake and confesses her love for Raj, who forgives her eventually. Raj and Meera reveal their relationship to their respective fathers, Randhir and Dev, who agree to meet. However, Dev attempts to kill Raj and his father in a shootout. Randhir and Dev end up killing each other. Meera sees Raj holding a gun next to Dev's body and shoots him, thinking he betrayed her. Raj survives, and his friends Shakti and Anwar convince him to leave the past behind and start a new life with Veer. The film follows how Raj and Mera encounter each other in the present and get together for their sibling’s happiness.
