EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 12: Shilpa Shinde sees Dipika Kakar and Neha Pendse way ahead in the show
In an EXCLUSIVE chat with PINKVILLA, Shilpa Shinde spoke about the task for Bigg Boss 12, about her memories related to the show, if she would like to enter the show as a pair or single and whom does she consider a strong contender this season.
Bigg Boss 12 has already got everyone talking, thanks to the controversial relationship between Anup Jatola and Jasleen Matharu which has managed to stir a lot of curiosity. For the first nomination task, it was Hina Khan and Hiten Tejwani who entered the house followed by Shilpa Shinde and Karan Patel, who will be seen taking forward the task in tonight's episode. In an EXCLUSIVE chat with PINKVILLA, Shilpa spoke about the task, about her memories related to the show, if she would like to enter the show as a pair or single and whom does she consider a strong contender this season.
"After a long time, I had goosebumps hearing Bigg Boss' voice. All the memories came rushing in," said Shilpa Shinde as she spoke to us. When we asked if it were the good or the bitter memories which rushed in, she laughed and added, "After I came out of Bigg Boss, it feels all the memories I made inside were happy. I had enjoyed all the moments inside the house, be it love, emotions, fights and masti. All are great memories only."
Further, speaking about the task, she revealed, "We [Karan and I] just took forward the task which was started by Hina and Hiten yesterday. I voted for the person I thought was more strong amongst the jodis and singles during the nomination task."
We also asked Shinde if she would have preferred entering the house single or in a pair if given a chance this season. To this, Shilpa said, "After my season, I don't think I will be able to trust anyone so I would prefer coming single only because if you see, in my entire season I played alone. No one really supported me except Puneesh, during the end. My audience were the ones who actually supported me, more than anyone else, but, I was playing single-handedly inside the house."
A mistake of hers she would advise contestants to not repeat? Shilpa stated that she doesn't think she made any "mistakes" as such and said that you cannot enter the house with a strategy. Just play it organically was her advice. She added, "I used to always give up captaincy inside the house but my audience made me the captain outside. I received so much love. I think it was my honesty, I did not adopt or follow any strategy. Whatever I was inside the house was the real me."
Shedding light on why she doesn't meet the ex-contestants especially Arshi Khan and Akash Dadlani, she said, "I don't meet Akash Dadlani or Arshi Khan because I had a genuine emotional connection with them when I was inside the house which got broken and I don't want to fall prey to it again. That's why I am not in touch with anyone. But, I wouldn't tell the contestants to not make friends inside or not bond but if they do, please stay true to it."
How did Bigg Boss 11 change you in the last one year? Shilpa reiterated, "I think I have grown more confident since my stint on the show. Your will-power enhances once you live in that house. I have understood myself better, my mistakes better. I have become more strong after Bigg Boss."
Lastly, when asked who does she think to have it in them to go way ahead in the show, Shilpa stated, "I feel Dipika Kakar, Neha Pendse are strong. They are good actors too and have a great fan following so I see them ahead. Anup ji has come with his jodi and has accepted his relationship, it is a huge thing."
