Rohan Mehra, the name itself reminds you of a tall and innocent looking boy, who comes across as soft spoken and shy. But in real life, Rohan aka Naksh of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is also this angry young man who believes in calling a spade a spade. The actor just 10 minutes before entering into the BB house on Saturday spoke to us about the collywobbles he had in his tummy while gearing up for Bigg Boss 10.

So tell us what's going on in your mind that a few minutes from now you will be locked into a posh house cutting off from the world?

I am very excited for the show. In just 10 minutes, my cell phones are going to be confiscated and I will be inside the Bigg Boss House. I am very excited to to be a part of the show and to see Salman. Though I have never shared the screen, but have shared the same stage with him. So I am looking forward to being with him.

Wasn't it a big risk to leave your hit character on a popular show all for Bigg Boss, considering the stay on the reality show is uncertain ?

Yes it is uncertain. But I have already done two Bollywood movies and it was risky even then when I decided to come to TV. It's been two years and it was becoming really monotonous on the show, same things were happening again and again. And one should take risks. I have got a lot of fame and recognition from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and I am really thankful to my producers and everybody for all that they have done for me. Also, I do not think that anybody in the history of BB might have taken the risk of leaving a popular show for Bigg Boss!  But to move ahead, you need to take risks and if the risk is something like Bigg Boss platform, then nothing like it. BB is the best thing that has happened to me till now.

How did your fellow contestants react on learning that you were to be a part of BB?

Almost everybody was happy. My directors and co-stars supported me and were happy.

What will your character's scenario at YRKKH in your absence be? Have you quit the show?

No, I haven't quit the show. I am on a gap period. Well, once my BB stint as over it is upon both me and the makers of YRKKH to decide whether to be a part of the show or not! Actually, it's been too hectic since two years. Also I feel, the best part of BB is that you don't have to be fake and just be yourself, which is surely not much stressful. You just have to make sure that you stay properly. But yes! You definitely will have to take up other tasks on the show. But frankly, I am feeling its easier than a daily soap, especially the stress in the former is less.

Have you religiously followed the previous seasons of Bigg Boss?

I did not get time to follow much of BB 9, but the seasons before I have followed.

What have you learnt from the previous seasons and how are you going to execute it in your stint?

I am just going to stay as I am in real life. I will adjust with everybody and live the BB life to the fullest. But if anybody's doing wrong, I will not even take it lightly. I just want to say that I will be nice and kind to all those who behave similar to me. But if I am poked or instigated unnecessarily, then they will have it back from me the same way. I am exactly how Naksh is in real life.

Any message for fans?

I just want to ask the fans to keep showering the same love on Rohan Mehra as they showered on Naksh.
