The Indiawaala Manveer Gurjar emerged victorious in the 10th season of Bigg Boss. Not just him, his best friend and another finalist Manu Punjabi also definitely won hearts with his sense of humour.
The latter, who was on cloud nine during his media interactions, left no stone unturned in impressing the viewers and also the media present with his witty answers. In a short and yet candid conversation with Pinkvilla.com, Manu spoke his heart out.
How was your journey?!
It was fabulous! My journey was just perfect. Waking up everyday to songs and living the days was definitely difficult yet challenging. I am taking away a lot of memories.
You were termed as manipulative especially when it was about dealing with Manveer. What is our take?!
I have never done anything intentionally. But, if the viewers have felt that I have manipulated someone then I am sorry. But in a reality show, to sustain relations you need to say good and bads. If you are staying inside a house for over 105 days, then ups and downs do happen and that's how naturally human beings are.
Mona's husband Vikrant was seen upset with your growing proximity with Mona. Did you guys share any cold vibes even after their wedding?!
Vikrant was a little possessive and he too saw and understood what the viewers saw and assumed. When you love someone, you do get a little possessive and care for your partner. There's nothing wrong. But, now that the two are married, I guess all the issues must have got resolved. But, we were just good friends.
How does it feel seeing Manveer win the show?!
I am super happy that a deserving candidate has won the show. He has performed every task well and if a non deserving candidate would have won the show, it wouldn't had been much fun.
If not Manveer, whom would you have rooted for?!
Apart from me and Manveer, if anyone was deserving enough to win the show, it would have been Lopa. Her performance has been very persistent.
How was it knowing Salman Khan during the BB stint?!
Salman Khan is a handsome and full on guy. He just doesn't consider himself to be a host of BB rather treats himself more like an elder member in the family. Every week, he grows closer to the show and its contestants. The amazing food on every Weekend Ka Vaar used to make our day. We loved it. Meeting and hugging Salman in itself is like an achievement in life. I have done it over 100 times by now; I feel I have achieved it all for the rest of my rebirths,
What are you going to miss the most about the BB house?!
The entire BB house. I am going to miss BB's voice. It has been one of the best experiences. He made sure that just with his voice he scolded, counselled and made us do every task.
How does it feel on seeing fans go berserk for you?!
I had never dreamt of entering the BB house. But now that I come to know that there are people who love me immensely and care about me, I feel they aren't fans, I would want to call them as my true friends because they have loved me for everything that I have done. I would want to stay connected with them. It's overwhelming.
Tell us about your future plans?!
I would love to do something for my M3 gang. I would want it to remain immortal and hence would want to launch a product soon on the M3 name. I haven't thought of anything in detail, but I am sure that we three are going to stay in touch and also make sure that the M3 name stays alive forever. Apart from this, I would also make sure to live up to my fans expectations in reality shows going further.
Manu chose to walk away with the cash prize of Rupees 10 lakh offered by Bigg Boss. So technically, Manu stood fourth, after Manveer, Bani & Lopa.
