EXCLUSIVE: BB14 runner up Rahul Vaidya on not being able to win the show: Happy about receiving so much love
Rahul Vaidya, who was one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 14, made it to the top 2 contestants along with Rubina Dilaik and ended up becoming the runner up of the show.
And after witnessing an intense fight of around 22 weeks, Bigg Boss 14 has come to an end now. The show had witnessed several interesting contestants who made sure to put their best foot forward in the popular reality show. Amid this, while Rubina Dilaik had emerged as a winner, it was Rahul Vaidya who had won hearts with his strong game and became the second runner up of Bigg Boss 14. Needless to say, Rahul’s massive fan following was heartbroken as he lost the show and ended up being a runner up.
However, Rahul is of the opinion that it wasn’t a complete loss as he had won a lot of fans and their love during his stint on Bigg Boss 14. Interestingly, Rahul, who was first seen in Indian Idol, has come a long way in 15 years. Taking about the same, the renowned singer, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, stated, “You grow with life, you mature in life, you calm down as a person, you realise your flaws. I was 17 when I was in Indian Idol and it’s been 15 years now. I feel that I came to this show with this intention of making new fans, getting new love, I have managed to do that. Getting the trophy is everybody’s dream. It’s okay, only one gets it. You lose some, you win some. I did a lot of reality shows, I have been a part of it, you win some you lose some. Today I am not very sad about not winning the show, but I am more happy that I have achieved so much. I have got so much love. My mom and my girlfriend were a little sad faced and my fans, if I feel bad, I feel for my fans because they were wanting me to win the show.”
Interestingly, Rahul had emerged as one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 14 and his game inside the house was well appreciated by the audience and Salman Khan.
