A Parliamentary panel on Information Technology is considering summoning YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, over his recent remarks on a YouTube show. The move comes after several Members of Parliament (MPs) and complaints filed against him and comedian Samay Raina.

This visit comes after several complaints were filed against the YouTuber, popularly known as BeerBiceps, on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. The situation has sparked a significant backlash from members of several associations, the entertainment industry, and politicians.
After Ranveer Allahbadia’s crass comment sparked outrage, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali reacted to the ongoing controversy. The filmmaker noted that fame that comes through shortcuts also goes away in the short term. Manoj Bajpayee also agreed with his viewpoint about short-term success.
All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has decided to take strict action against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and his show India’s Got Latent. The association has demanded to take down the episode featuring Ranveer's comment and also demanded a complete ban on India's Got Latent. All Indian Cine Workers Association claimed that it will never support "despicable shows". It then declared that they are officially boycotting India's Got Latent.
Priyank Kanoongo, a member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), has sent a letter to YouTube directing them to remove the "obscene and vulgar" video featuring podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia from the show India's Got Latent. In a letter written to Mira Chatt, YouTube's Public Policy head, Mr. Kanoongo said that the Commission has received a complaint from Yogendra Singh Thakur, who alleged that India's Got Latent contains highly objectionable, inappropriate, and obscene remarks against Indian society.

While talking to the reporters, the CM said, "Everyone has freedom of speech but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others. This encroachment is not right. In our society, we have made some rules; if someone violates them, it is absolutely wrong and action should be taken against them ."
