Box Office Report: Bajirao Mastani Strong, Dilwale crosses 100 Crores
The business of Bajirao Mastani seems to be unaffected despite the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer showed 20% growth on Christmas Holiday and has earned in the range of INR 12.25 crores on its eight day.
The total of the movie is in the same range as that of Bajrangi Bhaijaan's day 8 figures. But that wasn't a holiday and INR 12.75 crores was the highest eight day total for a film in 2015.
Dilwale on the other hand dipped further despite Holiday and collected INR 7.50 crores on its eighth day. With this the movie has also crossed 100 crore nett mark in eight days with a total of around INR 104.50 crores. Bajirao Mastani is closing on in on Dilwale with collections of around INR 98.40 crores.
