Box Office Report: Day 1 Collections of Fitoor & Sanam Re
This week's releases Fitoor and Sanam Re have had low occupancy and are off to a rather slow start at the Box Office. While according to Box Office India, the Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer earned only INR 3.50 crores on Day 1, Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela's Sanam Re also collected INR 3.50 crores on first day.
However, the collections revealed by the respective production houses sre as follows: As per UTV Motion Pictures, Fitoor made INR 3.61 crores on first day and according to T-Series Sanam Re has opened to INR 5.04 crores.
Trade reports suggest that both the movies are at par with each other and are doing similar business in Mumbai circuit. Given the kind of films they are, both will have to make at least a jump of 50% in the weekend, to witness a steady opening weekend.
