Tusshar Kapoor on Golmaal Again - We missed Kareena Kapoor Khan; Tabu and Parineeti more than made up for it
Tusshar Kapoor talks about not having Kareena Kapoor Khan in Golmaal Again and says, "It would have been easy to call her to do the film. She would have said, let’s do it. But I can’t do that since she is expecting her first child. I will miss her for sure. But we might do a song or something else with her."
Director Rohit Shetty recently kickstarted the shoot of the fourth part of his Golmaal franchise with lead actors Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu. Joining the boys were actresses Parineeti Chopra and Tabu, who are the new entrants in the film. However, this time, Kareena Kapoor Khan couldn't be a part of the movie, as she recently gave birth to her baby boy Taimur Ali Khan.
When Rohit had announced Golmaal Again, everyone had asked him if he will miss working with Bebo, to which he had replied, "It would have been easy to call her to do the film. She would have said, let’s do it. But I can’t do that since she is expecting her first child. I will miss her for sure. But we might do a song or something else with her."
When we caught up with Tusshar Kapoor, who played Kareena's brother in Golmaal Returns and a 'frenemy' in Golmaal 3, we asked if the team missed Kareena on the set. To this Tusshar admitted, "Ofcourse we missed her, but Tabu and Parineeti more than made up for it. This is a different Golmaal and it is good in its own way."
Ask him how is the movie shaping up and the actor says, "It is going well. It is typical. Just the way Golmaal should be. We have one schedule left which we will begin in July."
Interestingly, on the last schedule of Golmaal Again which happened in Hyderabad, Tusshar Kapoor had taken his son Laksshya along with him. The tiny tot had a great time with his daddy. But we wonder did the other stars on the set pamper him?
"We were very busy so they didn't have time to pamper him. I used to spend time with him in the evenings after the shoot. I used to take Laksshya to Ajay and Tabu's room and they used to pamper him. But I never took him on the sets because it was too hot. In the evenings he used to go around in his push chair and he was very comfortable with the entire atmosphere," concluded Tusshar.
