Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh will see the trio work together for the first time. The remake of the movie will see Kartik in a never before seen avatar, while Bhumi plays his wife and Ananya will be seen as his love interest. The movie is touted to be a rom-com and after a series of look tests is finally ready to go on floors.
About the same, a source informs, "The team will fly to Lucknow for a two-month long schedule on the 10th and 11th. It will be a long stretched schedule for the team in the capital of Uttar Pradesh with the intention to wrap up. They will begin shooting for the schedule from 11th of this month." Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the movie is set to hit the theatres next year. With Pati Patni Aur Woh, the makers plan to keep the core essence of the film while giving it a modern twist – a humorous take on extra-marital affairs to appeal to today’s audience.
The 1978 movie starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha among others was one of the best comedy movies of that time. It was produced and directed by BR Chopra and revolved around a married couple Ranjeet (Sanjeev Kumar) and Sharda (Vidya Sinha) and how things change after he gets a promotion and a stunning secretary Nirmala (Ranjeeta Kaur).
