EXCLUSIVE: Rajkummar Rao on romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Fanney Khan: I will be the next RK
Rajkummar Rao opens up about working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Fanney Khan.
Rajkummar Rao is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Newton where he is seen essaying the character of a rookie government clerk who is sent on election duty to Naxal affected areas of Chhattisgarh.
Post that, the actor has Fanney Khan in the pipeline wherein he will be seen romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The movie will also feature Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role.
When asked about the film, a smiling Rajkummar said, "I am very excited. I can't wait to begin."
Given that, after Ranbir Kapoor, it is HE who will be seen romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan onscreen amongst the younger lot, we wondered how does Rajkummar feel about that. To this the actor laughed saying, "One RK has, I will be the next RK [Ranbir Kapoor]."
What is his role like in Fanney Khan? Without divulging details, the talented actor said, "I am not really supposed to talk about the role but all I can say is it is a well edged out part, something I have never done earlier. I have just got back from Toronto and my preparation mode is on. Just keeping my fingers crossed. Right now I am just a bit nervous just like I get every time before starting a new film."
Since Anil Kapoor has already begun shooting for the movie, we asked Rajkummar about his schedule. Replying to this, he said, "I begin shooting for the film the moment I am done with Newton's release. I have had a couple of sessions with my director but now I will be meeting Aishwarya and Anil Sir as well and have my reading sessions."
Well, we can't wait to see how the movie turns out to be!
