When asked why the movie's name is Zero and how it represents the movie, to which SRK replied," It has two meanings. Firstly, Zero is a unique number, people feel that it is probably nothing, but place it anywhere, it will change the whole meaning and composition.
Secondly, we think that zero means nothing, everything is over, you have come to the lowest level of life. But another perspective could be how perhaps God wants to give you another chance to begin again. The positive meaning of the Zero is that, if you consider it then it has a meaning, if you don't believe then it is nothing for you. This film is about a common man who feels like or people make him feel that he is lacking something. In such a situation, we should understand that God has blessed us with the right things and that's the right gift."
