Kareena Kapoor Khan's NOT doing a web series on Poo, her character from K3G; confirms spokesperson
For the longest time, there have been rumours about Kareena being roped in for a series on Poo - her iconic character from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. But as it's turning out now, these are mere conjectures.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has completely reinvented norms written for women in the industry. The actress has not only broken stereotypes but written a new rule book for other contemporaries too. The Bollywood diva recently wrapped up shoot for Good News also starring Akshay Kumar and there were strong rumours that she has greenlit another big project.
What's that? A web series on her iconic character Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Despite the film clocking over 17 years now, people still remember the character and the way Kareena aced it. In a lot of interviews, Kareena had even spoken about the same and called it one of her toughest roles ever, since it was extremely over-the-top. Over the last few weeks, speculations were rife that the heroine will be seen in Karan Johar produced series tentatively titled Poo Diaries. Bebo maintained a strong silence on the topic. But now, her spokesperson has rubbished the piece of news.
When contacted, Kareena's team told us, "The reports are completely false.There is no truth to the digital series." Although we would have loved to see how Poo would react to everyday situation at this current stage of life, it seems the wait might be a little longer. Meanwhile, Kareena is gearing up for her special top cop role in Irrfan starrer Angrezi Medium, post which she will also be seen in KJo's magnum opus - Takht that revolves around the Mughal Era. Along with this, she will also be seen as a judge on Dance India Dance.
