Jagga Jasoos starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has been in news ever since it was announced. The movie after several delays is finally going to hit the theatres on July 14, 2017.

While even as rumours of Govinda doing a special role in the film is not dying, the buzz is that Sanjay Dutt is also part of the Anurag Basu film.

According to a leading tabloid, Sanjay will be the sutradhar (narrator) for Jagga Jasoos. Ranbir had reportedly recommended Dutt's name for the part.

However, a source close to the film denied Sanjay's involvement in the film.

Earlier this week, a picture of Govinda from the sets of JJ was leaked. While Govinda was unrecognizable in the picture, Ranbir and Kat could be spotted in the background. However, what is surprising is that Govinda had earlier declared that he is no more part of the movie.

When we had interviewed Govinda two years back, he had told us, "Well I am not doing JAGGA JASOOS because I am doing ABHINAY CHAKRA, my home production film, wherein I play a lead hero. So I cannot do a father's role. If I was doing those roles then it was fine, but if I am not doing then why are you offering me that kind of a film?

However, sources close to the movie have rubbished the news and have said that Govinda isn't a part of the movie, while people close to the actor maintain that he is a part of the movie.

Helmed by Anurag Basu, the film also features Sayani Gupta and Adah Sharma in lead roles and is the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father.
